Jochen Schuster

Jochen Schuster has more than 20 years of experience in the music industry and is one of the most respected label executives in the business. He has worked at a high level in Universal Music, Sony Music, Polydor and Island,  selling millions of records with pretty much all of the most successful German artists, as well as International acts Meatloaf, Bryan Adams, Avicii, Caro Emerald, Nena, A-ha and many more.

Jochen has also been a leading project manager for TV shows The Voice, Germany’s Got Talent, Starsearch, Eurovison Songcontest.

Five years ago he stepped out of Universal and started his own companies including an artist management company, his own publishing arm at BMG rights, a consulting company and he also founded a direct-to-fan platform for artists and their fans „getnext.to“.

This new platform recently rolled out and already has many artists on board who successfully monetize their content with their fans. A great opportunity for any artist to earn money from digital and physical content, whilst fans love this new more intimate form of relationship with their favourite artists.
