1.1 Where stated prices quoted are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be applied at the prevailing rate at time payment is processed.
1.2.The overall price must be paid when stated at time of order, before the start date of the program unless there is a valid Instalment Agreement in place.
1.3 The Songwriting Academy reserves the right to defer attendance by the Client to any of its events until such time that sufficient payments have been made by the Client to cover the advertised full price of the event.
2. Consequences of failure to pay
2.1 If payment is not made within the time limits in clause 1.2 above, this will be a breach of contract by the Client entitling The Songwriting Academy Ltd. to withhold services and reallocate the bookings without informing the client.
3. Cancellation or variations by the Client
3.1 Any notice of cancellation or variation by the Client of a booking or part of a booking for an event must be made in writing by letter sent to The Songwriting Academy Ltd., Kemp House, 152 – 160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX or email to [email protected] All bookings are subject to a 14 day cancellation period from the date of booking after which time The Songwriting Academy reserves the right to refuse a future booking by the Client for the same event.
3.2 In the event of cancellation of membership to the program by the Client, the Client is not entitled to any refund on monies paid and must continue making payments agreed in any Instalment Agreement until payment is made in full.
3.3 The Client is entitled to a full refund on any deposit paid provided the request is made in writing by letter sent to The Songwriting Academy Ltd., Kemp House, 152 – 160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX or email to [email protected], within 7 days of the date of payment of the deposit.
4. Alterations to advertised packages
4.1 All advertised packages are subject to availability
4.2 Every effort will be made to adhere to the packages. The Songwriting Academy Ltd, reserves the right to amend the package in which case The Songwriting Academy Ltd. will provide a reasonable alternative package and the Client agrees to accept such reasonable alternative package.
5. Law and construction
The contract of these terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law and The Songwriting Academy Ltd. and the Client hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts in all matters regarding the contracts and these Terms and Conditions.
6. Other conditions
6.1 Membership to the Platinum Mentoring Program is for a period of 12 months from the agreed start date.
6.2 Mentoring sessions have a duration of 30 minutes and are conducted over the Internet or by telephone.
6.3 Mentoring sessions may not be rolled forward if not booked/used in any month.
6.4 All valid courses provided within Platinum Mentoring Program must be taken within the membership period.
6.5 Access to the Songwriting Library videos will be valid during the 12 month Platinum Mentoring Program period only, after which access will be revoked.
6.6 No refunds will be given in the event that the Client does not use any or part of the services provided within the Platinum Mentoring Program.
6.7 Membership to the Platinum Mentoring Program cannot be suspended and will expire 12 months after the start date.
