David Corbell didn’t really know whether his dream of becoming a professional songwriter was possible. We showed him it was, and through our training, 1-2-1 sessions and networking opportunities, David got his very first song placement with the world famous Dame Shirley Bassey, reaching Number 5 on the official UK charts, being added to the BBC Radio 2 A-list as well as becoming BBC Radio 2 Record Of The Week.
David told us:

Jack joined The Songwriting Academy with no track record. Following a year of learning, developing and networking with our elite mentoring team, he is writing full time for world famous record producers, getting over 30 million streams on the music he is having released around the world. He has signed a publishing deal with one of the UK’s biggest independent music publishers, whom he met through The Songwriting Academy. This was followed quickly by a management deal, then a record deal. He is now a much sought after writer and performer and spends every day living his dream. At a recent gig, 7 of his songs were performed live to 24,000 people.
Jack told us:

Michael G. Moore is a much sought after wedding and function singer who wanted more. He joined The Songwriting Academy and through us built new connections with publishers, started writing for live briefs, then landed a massive cut as a featured vocalist and top line writer for Monocule (AKA world famous producer Nicky Romero), launching him into the world of major players and millions of listeners.
Less than a year after joining The Songwriting Academy, Jacqueline Loor scored her first synchronisation success with a placement in CW TV Show Batwoman.

After attending The Songwriting Academy Retreat in Spain, singer/songwriter Alex landed a huge hit with her single Fake Friends, going Top 20 in the official UK charts and getting over 50 million streams across the music platforms.
After meeting at The Songwriting Academy Songwriting Retreat in Spain, Richard and Marianne formed a country band called ‘Retreat’. Their debut EP instantly hit Number 1 on the iTunes Country Chart.
