David Sharp is a composer, arranger and producer based in London UK with over 15 years experience in the industry, primarily in media.
His clients include the BBC, Debenhams, Citi, Udell Group and Saga Holidays and he has a host of credits on many well-known US/UK TV shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, CSI, Cold Case, Casualty, Come Dine With Me and Top Gear. He is also the writer of the title music for ABC Australia’s nightly news show called “Lateline”.
He combines his BSc in IT/Psychology with his BA in Music and qualifications from Berklee College Of Music in Media Writing, Scoring and Music Supervision, allowing him to be well versed in both the music and the business.
As a library composer, David has extensive catalogues with de Wolfe and Sonoton and as an engineer and co-producer, David has had CDs commercially released. He is also a session arranger and player of guitar, piano and vocals.
David has run over 3,000 courses to approximately 36,000 people based in the UK, USA, Africa, the Middle East and Germany. David’s training style is very friendly and inclusive drawing on a wealth of relevant practical examples and experience coupled with an ability to simplify key concepts. He is also keen to make the training workshop insightful, informative and enjoyable where delegates come away feeling inspired, enthusiastic and keen to implement the new learning. David judges his own success as a trainer by the extent to which he has influenced the delegate to enable substantial change delivering sustained performance improvement.
